DEF STAN 91-91 (UK Ministry of Defence) is widely used in Europe and elsewhere. Jet A-1 meeting DEF STAN 91-91 is acceptable where that standard is required; it is broadly aligned with ASTM D1655 with some additional or different limits.

Certification & quality

Each batch of Jet A-1 is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) from the refinery, confirming compliance with ASTM D1655 and/or DEF STAN 91-91. The CoA typically includes freeze point, flash point, density, distillation, sulfur, aromatics, and other specified parameters.

For each shipment we coordinate documentation (CoA, B/L, customs, quality certificates) as required by the buyer and destination. Third-party inspection and testing can be arranged at loading if agreed in the contract.
